step 1: choose your scale: • major • minor (melodic) • minor (harmonic) • dominant 7th • diminished 7th • blues step 2: line up the root marker to the centre of the desired root note - scalewand® will work on whichever note you choose step 3: to play the scale, start with the note indicated by the root marker, then play all the notes indicated by the blue arrows, one at a time, going up and down the keyboard. Simultaneously play the note indicated by the root note marker, together with the notes indicated by the blue arrows to achieve the chord. scalewand®  can also be used to play arpeggios and basic chords too!
